FISHING REPORT JULY 1 UCLUELET BC - WEST COAST VANCOUVER ISLAND
Fishing continues to be extremely good–so good that we still can’t believe we are having fishing this good so close to the harbour all of April up to now. Normally the fish seem to move around a bit but fishing has been consistently good in close to shore for Chinook and now Coho as well. The halibut fishing hasn’t been bad either and have been relatively close by.
Normally this time of year we are catching Chinook–but normally we have to do a little more hunting around for fish. 2022 has been pretty epic so far. Hopefully it will continue and it sounds like it should as we have lots of squid around and lots of feeders besides the larger returning Chinook.
